MINISTRIES OF THE SANTA CRUZ CATHOLIC CHURCH
PURPOSE
The Ministries helps prepare our community to carry out the Church’s plan of worship. The liturgy, the official prayer of the Church, is facilitated by the participation of people in the wondrous act of Eucharist.
DUTIES
Here, at Santa Cruz Church, we plan for the Liturgy through ministries that each serves a specific purpose for the four masses offered each weekend, Holy Days of Obligation, Special Services, and Seasonal Services. Since Liturgy is experienced from the Processional to the Recessional, there are many people who help facilitate the smooth transition from one part of the celebration to another. Our Liturgical Ministries include Altar Servers, , Eucharistic Ministers of Communion, Readers, ,Ministers of Hospitality (usher).
